Music does more than entertain. It shapes what we believe and remember. Most of us can still sing songs we learned as children, word for word. That is why the Bible tells us to teach and admonish one another “in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs” (Colossians 3:16).
Songs that declare, not just describe
Many songs talk about how we feel. Those have their place. But we are especially passionate about songs that declare who God is and what He has done: songs of dominion that remind us He reigns over every circumstance.
What goes into every song we make
- Scripture first. Lyrics are tested against the Word of God.
- Prayer throughout. Songs are prayed over from the first idea to the final release.
- Purpose. Each song is written to awaken hunger, strengthen faith or call men to action.
Sing it until you believe it
There will be days when you do not feel victorious. Sing anyway. Declaring truth out loud has a way of lifting your eyes from the problem to the God who is bigger than it. As you sing that He reigns, your heart begins to agree.
Keep an eye on our Songs section for new releases, and let the music carry the message into your everyday life.
