About the Artist: Toluwanisings

Toluwanisings, whose real name was Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, was a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter and music minister known for his energetic praise ministrations and distinctive Yoruba gospel sound. He hailed from Ikirun, Osun State, Nigeria, and was based in Ibadan, Oyo State.

He was the founder and leader of Toluwani Gospel Music Ministry (TOGOMM). His musical journey was shaped by his Christian faith and passion for gospel music. He spent years singing before gaining wider public recognition in 2021, when comedian and Christian minister Woli Arole shared one of his songs on Instagram. This exposure introduced his music to a much larger audience.

Toluwanisings became known for combining traditional Yoruba praise expressions with contemporary gospel music. His recordings featured lively praise sessions, heartfelt worship and songs that encouraged listeners to celebrate God’s goodness. Some of his notable songs include Kos’Oluwa Laye, A Very Big God, Onibuore, E Lagbara, Olorun Awon Baba Wa, Kabiesi Olorun Ayo, Eniyan, Goodness, Owo Re Meji Meji, The Name of Jesus and Ase Ti Jade featuring Adeyinka Alaseyori.
