Dominion Mandates (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs the website dominionmandates.com. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with applicable data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
1. Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic technical information needed to run the website.
- Event sign-ups: your full name, phone number, email address, the number of people attending, and any optional message or prayer request you share.
- Gospel Artist and Minister accounts: your full name, stage or ministry name, email address, phone number, church or ministry name, and a password (stored securely in encrypted form; we cannot see it).
- Content you submit: song and sermon titles, descriptions, lyrics, cover images and the links to your media.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Technical information: like most websites, our server automatically records basic data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running properly.
2. How we use your information
- To register you for events, send your confirmation and registration number, and share important updates about the event.
- To let event organisers know who is attending so they can plan seating, logistics and follow-up.
- To create and manage your artist or minister account, review your submissions and let you know when they are approved.
- To reply to your messages and prayer requests.
- To send you our newsletter, if you subscribed.
- To protect the website from spam, abuse and security threats.
We will never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
- Event organisers: when you sign up for an event hosted with a partner ministry or church, your sign-up details are shared with that event’s organisers so they can welcome you.
- Service providers: our web hosting and email providers store and deliver information on our behalf, under their own security and confidentiality obligations.
- Legal reasons: if required by law or to protect the safety of our community.
Songs, sermons and event details that are approved and published are public, along with the artist, minister or organiser name shown with them.
4. Cookies and third-party content
We use a small number of cookies to keep the website working (for example, to keep you signed in to your dashboard) and to remember your cookie preferences. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the cookie banner, and you can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
Some pages include content from other services, such as Google Maps (event locations) and YouTube or other media players (songs and sermons). When you view that content, those services may collect information according to their own privacy policies. Links to our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and X pages take you to those platforms, which have their own policies.
5. How long we keep it
- Event sign-up details are kept for up to 12 months after the event, then deleted or anonymised.
- Account information is kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
- Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.
6. How we protect it
Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, passwords are encrypted, and access to personal information is limited to the Dominion Mandates team and, for event sign-ups, the relevant event organisers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information or cancel an event registration;
- stop sending you newsletters or other messages;
- withdraw any consent you have given.

8. Children
Our website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
