Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International, has been praised for honouring his business commitment to Sapphire Scents despite reportedly receiving offers from people willing to provide scenting machines for free for the ministry’s newly completed auditorium in Abuja. Adewale Jana, founder of Sapphire Scents, shared the account in a social media post, describing it as a rare privilege for his company to handle the scenting of the new Streams of Joy International edifice.
According to Jana, what impressed him most was Pastor Jerry Eze’s decision to stand by his word even after several people reportedly contacted the cleric with offers to provide the scenting machines at no cost.
“What Will I Tell Wale? I Have Given Him My Word”
Jana explained that after Sapphire Scents shared its first scenting video from the ministry’s old auditorium, several people reportedly reached out to Pastor Jerry Eze, expressing their willingness to scent the new auditorium for free. However, rather than accept the offers, the pastor reportedly insisted that he had already made a commitment to Sapphire Scents.
Jana recalled his response: “What will I tell Wale? I have given him my word.”
The Sapphire Scents founder said Pastor Jerry Eze could have received thousands of scenting machines overnight if he had simply announced that he needed them. However, he chose to honour his existing agreement with the company.
In his words: “Pastor Jerry didn’t have to buy a single machine from us. All he had to do was send out the word that he needed scent machines and he would have thousands of machines overnight but he refused to do that. He said Sapphire Scents or NOTHING!”
Sapphire Scents Founder Praises Jerry Eze’s Integrity
Jana contrasted the experience with what he described as previous challenges his company had encountered with other churches.
He said some organisations had collected invoices from Sapphire Scents before eventually purchasing from other providers, while others had failed to patronise the company despite its expertise. Against that background, he described Pastor Jerry Eze’s decision to remain committed to Sapphire Scents as particularly meaningful. Going beyond the business relationship, Jana praised the pastor’s character, describing him as someone who genuinely loves people and stands by his word.
“Sir, you are not just one of the most powerful and one of the most anointed men of this generation, you also genuinely love people and you have INTEGRITY! If Pastor Jerry says he is with you, he means every word!” he wrote.
Appreciation to Jerry and Eno Jerry Eze
Jana also expressed appreciation to Pastor Jerry Eze and his wife, Pastor Eno Jerry Eze, for giving Sapphire Scents the opportunity to handle the scenting of the new Streams of Joy Abuja auditorium. He assured the couple that the opportunity would never be taken for granted, while congratulating the ministry on its newly completed building.
His account has drawn attention to the pastor’s reported decision to honour an existing business commitment despite having the option of receiving the same service for free.
