About the Artist: Toluwanisings

Toluwanisings, whose real name was Minister Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, was a Nigerian gospel music minister, singer, songwriter and recording artiste. He was the founder and leader of Toluwani Gospel Music Ministry (TOGOMM). He hailed from Ikirun, Osun State, Nigeria, and was based in Ibadan, Oyo State. He became known for his energetic praise ministrations, Yoruba-inspired gospel songs and contemporary worship recordings. His unique musical expression brought together indigenous Yoruba praise traditions and modern gospel sounds, creating music that encouraged people to participate in praise and worship.

Toluwanisings gained wider recognition in 2021 after comedian and content creator Woli Arole shared one of his songs online, introducing his music to a much larger audience. He went on to build a remarkable catalogue of gospel songs and praise projects, including Kos’Oluwa Laye, Unreserved Praise, A Very Big God, E Lagbara, Onibuore, Kabiesi Olorun Ayo and The Name of Jesus. His music ministry was centred on using songs to communicate the Christian message, encourage believers and draw people closer to God. His contributions to Nigerian gospel music remain part of the legacy he leaves behind.

Toluwanisings passed away on October 14, 2026. His songs and recordings continue to serve listeners who appreciate Yoruba gospel music, praise and worship.
