Originally from Ikirun, Osun State, Nigeria, and based in Ibadan, Oyo State, he became known for his energetic praise ministrations, indigenous Yoruba gospel sound and contemporary worship music.

His musical style brought together traditional Yoruba praise expressions and modern gospel sounds. He used his musical gifts to encourage believers, inspire praise and communicate the Christian message. Toluwanisings built a catalogue of gospel recordings and praise projects, including A Very Big God, E Lagbara, Onibuore, Kabiesi Olorun Ayo, The Name of Jesus, Kos’Oluwa Laye, Unreserved Praise and Ancient Worship.
