We often picture revival as something enormous: packed stadiums, cities turning to God, headlines no one can ignore. But every great move of God in history started small. Before revival sweeps a nation, it first ignites one surrendered heart.
Revival is personal before it is public
When the prophet Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up, his first words were not about the nation. They were about himself: “Woe is me! for I am undone” (Isaiah 6:5). Only after his own lips were touched did he hear the call, “Whom shall I send?” and answer, “Here am I; send me.”
That is the pattern. God stirs one person, that person is changed, and a changed person carries fire into their home, their workplace and their community.
Three signs revival has started in you
- A fresh hunger for God. Prayer stops feeling like duty and starts feeling like oxygen.
- A new sensitivity to sin. Things you once tolerated begin to grieve you.
- A burden for others. You can no longer be comfortable while people around you are far from God.
Pressing play
At Dominion Mandates, our logo carries a play button for a reason. The message of hope has already been recorded in heaven. Our part is to press play: to yield, to pray, and to let God begin His work in us.
Revival will not start with the next conference. It can start today, in the quiet place, with a simple prayer: Lord, begin with me.
