“The Next Time You Have Sex, Let It Be With Your Spouse”: Nathaniel Bassey Charges Those Believing God for Marriage

Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has challenged singles believing God for marriage to make a commitment to sexual purity, urging them to honour God with their bodies and reserve sexual intimacy for their God-ordained spouses. The gospel minister gave the charge during the Hallelujah Challenge, where he addressed both singles trusting God for marriage and businesspeople seeking to prosper in their various endeavours.

“Make a Promise That You Will Not Sleep With Anybody Who Is Not Your Spouse”

Addressing singles believing God for marriage, Nathaniel Bassey called on them to make a promise to God that they would not sleep with anyone who was not their spouse. He urged them to honour God with their bodies and challenged them to make a firm commitment concerning their sexual lives. He asked the congregation whether they were ready to enter into what he described as a “holy deal” with God, asking them to make a commitment that the next time they had sex, it would be with their God-ordained spouse.

The congregation responded, “Amen,” as he led them to make the commitment. His message centred on the need for singles to remain sexually pure while trusting God for marriage, rather than compromising their convictions before meeting their spouses.

Nathaniel Bassey Tells Businesspeople Not to Cut Corners

The minister also turned his attention to businesspeople, warning them against cutting corners in their pursuit of success. He challenged those who had wronged people in business to make restitution and take practical steps to correct their mistakes.

According to his message, anyone who had acted dishonestly or treated others wrongly in business should make a decision to put things right. He further urged businesspeople not to enter into business dealings without telling the truth, stressing the importance of honesty and integrity in their professional relationships.

“Make Things Right”: A Call to Honesty and Restitution

Nathaniel Bassey’s message called on people to align their conduct with their faith, both in their personal relationships and in their businesses. While singles were challenged to honour God with their bodies and reserve sex for marriage, businesspeople were urged to reject dishonest practices, stop cutting corners and make restitution wherever they had wronged others.

The message at the Hallelujah Challenge therefore addressed two areas of daily life: sexual purity for those trusting God for marriage and integrity for those involved in business.
